Geoffrey Bird is an Associate in SOM’s Chicago office. He has deep experience leading the design, management and execution of mid and high rise apartment, condominium, hotel and mixed use projects. Mr. Bird’s work includes both ground up and major repositionings with entrepreneurial, privately held and publicly traded real estate development concerns across the United States, Middle East and Asia. Mr. Bird believes in a holistic approach to the profession of architecture, with an emphasis on elegance in design, efficiency in management and innovation in technical matters.
